The United States Department of Justice states Domestic Violence can be defined as actions, threats, and activities that “intimidate, manipulate, humiliate, isolate, frighten, terrorize, coerce, threaten, blame, hurt, injure, or wound someone.”
Domestic Violence can have severe effects on the children as shown above. It is important that you take this into consideration and try to remove them from this type of situation. Not only will you help them today, but you will help their children and hopefully stop the cycle from continuing. You may also find they are acting out against their peers as well.
